ELIZABETH KOCH
Flute

Originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, Elizabeth Koch has been the Principal Flutist of the ESO since 1987. Since her arrival in Edmonton she has been active as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher. Her solo credits include the ESO, the Alberta Baroque Ensemble, the Alberta College Percussion Ensemble, the Arden Ensemble and ECHO.

Ms. Koch is on the faculty of King's University College and operates a private studio from her home.

Elizabeth is married to ESO and ABE violinist Murray Vaasjo and they spend most of their free time taking care of and enjoying their seven-year-old son Mark and their cats.
