Winner of 2009 Alberta Baroque Ensemble Concerto and Scholarship Competition
Local soprano Megan Chartrand is a fourth year student completing her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance at the University of Alberta. Megan has studied voice with Jolaine Kerley and Marilyn Kerley.
As a soloist, Megan has sung with the VoiceScapes, the Madrigal Singers and Ariose Women's Choir in works such as Handel's Messiah, Berlioz’ Veni Creator Spiritus, J.M. Haydn’s Missa sub titilo Sancti Leopoldi, Reinberger’s Messe in A and Vic Nees' Singet
dem Herrn.
She is also a core member of Pro Coro Canada.
