TAMMY-JO MORTENSEN
Organ

Tammy-Jo Mortensen completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Alberta and a Master of Music degree in pipe organ performance at McGill University. She has an extensive church music background as music director, organist and pianist, choir director, singer, handbell ringer and conductor, and has been the director of music at Robertson-Wesley since 2003.

She has performed solo and chamber recitals in Canada, the US, Denmark and England and has been recorded by CBC radio and television. Currently, she is enrolled in the graduate choral conducting program at the University of Alberta. Tammy-Jo teaches privately in addition to her work as the harpsichordist for the Alberta Baroque Ensemble.
